How to fountain pens work?
Okay so i just bought a fountain pen it says it’s a fine tip, but it really doesn’t seem that fine to me. So i am wondering how do they work exactly… I mean is the little slit on the nib wider for bolder ones and thinner for the fine tips? Anyone know how?
Yes, fine means a thinner nib, as implied. The term is relative without actual measurements though, such as for Mechanical Pencils, where fine is usually 5mm (personally I break the lead with that one all the time) and 7mm normal.
